In 2023, added 7,606 new registered subscribers to our Philo and Sophie web portal, which contains pro-life video sessions, parent/teacher resources, and take-home tools. This brought the total number of Philo and Sophie subscribers to 11,930 by year end, including 2,816 teachers and 231 religious educators who are using the content in classrooms. We continued our partnerships with FORMED.org to carry the videos on their streaming platform, and with Salt+Light Television in Canada to broadcast the videos on their station, allowing us to reach several million households with our educational content for grades K - 3. 161280 0 0 General / All Programs: These are accomplishments that benefit all of the many programs of Healing the Culture, rather than any one program in particular. We continued a successful earned media campaign with hundreds of thousands of people discovering HTC for the first time. We completed 23 interviews on television, radio, print, and online platforms across the United States and Canada. We continued buildout and enhancements of our film studio. We exhibited at 2 conferences in California and South Dakota and Healing the Culture speakers presented our life principles content to an additional 665 persons at 7 special events in 2023.. We began the task of transitioning our main website URL and email addresses from dot-com to dot-org and merging four unique websites into one, bringing philoandsophie.org and respectlife.university under the umbrella of healingtheculture.org. The website now has a new logo and branding with a new look and feel and improved functionality to offer a much-improved user experience, generating approximately 2,983 unique visitors and 5,600 page views per month in 2023. Healing the Culture had a combined 2,433 followers on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn in 2023, a 63.3% increase from 2022. Our posts on social media reached 21,329 users in 2023, a 46.9% increase from 2022, and 26,491 impressions (the number of times posts appeared on someone's screen) in 2023, a 70.4% increase from 2022. And our posts achieved an average engagement rate of 6.51% (the amount of interactions - likes, shares, comments, comments, saves - a piece of content gets compared to reach or audience size), which exceeds industry benchmark averages and is a 44.4% increase from 2022. 96796 0 0 Respect Life University: Respect Life University is our online, pro-life video platform for teens and adults, with 5-minute courses, animated features, 90-second apologetics, full-length lectures, interviews, discussions, and more. We completed and launched 16 units of a new series called "Truth In 90 Seconds." By the end of 2023, the series had achieved over 600,000 views. Another new series, "Forbidden Discussions," is targeted at Generation Z (17-28 year-olds). The provocative series features a male and a female Gen-Z pair debating the hottest topics around abortion using online platforms. The series was conceived, shot, and edited in 2023 and will launch in 2024. A final new series is "Pro-Life Pathfinders." These videos use talking heads and graphic animation to present more nuanced arguments against abortion in 5-minute segments. In 2023, we launched two new episodes - one on rape and incest and the other on embryonic stem cell research. 20903 0 11262 Principles and Choices: 3,788 high school students took our Principles and Choices course in schools around the country, including new schools in MA, OH, NY, WI, and TX.
