The primary tax position of MAUC is its filing status as a tax exempt entity. MAUCs tax returns are subject to examination by the relevant tax authorities until expiration of the applicable statute of limitations which is generally three years after the filing of the tax return. MAUC determined that it is more than likely than not that its tax position will be sustained upon examination by the Internal Revenue Service or other State taxing authority.
