They are appointed by the BoD whenever a vacancy occurs based on recommendations from staff, partners and volunteers. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b This form was completed by the COO of Cuso International. After completion, it was reviewed by both the CEO and the Treasurer of the Board. There is also an Audit and Finance committee of the Board and they, at one of their meetings, review the Form 990 and then forwards to the entire Board for receipt, review, acceptance and acknowledgement in its minutes. These are all internal documents available to all staff, BoD members and the external auditors for the monitoring of its activities. Each year, Cuso International produces an Annual Report and its accounts are audited by professional external auditors. The audited financial statements are reviewed by the Audit and Finance committee and accepted by the entire Board at its AGM.
