The lease calls for current monthly base rent, including utilities, of $7,444. For the year 2023, the Organization paid $85,163 in rent to this related party. This transaction was approved by a vote of the disinterested Board Members. Compensation paid to Related Party:During the year, the Organization paid compensation of $97,917 to the President of the Organization, who ran the day-to-day operations of the Organization and $131,623 to the Presidents son, who is the Operations Director of the Organization. All related party transactions were approved by a vote of the disinterested Board members. During 2023, the organization paid $10,700 to Waking Media, Inc., a company owned by the daughter of the organizations president, for marketing and design support, including assistance in producing the Activated Egg Symposium.
