Steve is not involved in the day to day operations. He is involved in book keeping and compliance. Steve has no contact with Adoptiove families, birthmothers, or children. Tina is involved in day to day operations and magement of adoptive families, birthmothers and children. They both have 3 adopted children. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b All forms are reviewed by board member prior to filing as well as quarterly numbers and general state of the business throughout the year. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c A conflict of interests policy has been established, and any conflict of interest in a financial or personal matter must be disclosed immediately. Any conflict of interest disclosed or discovered must be brought to the attention of all members and proper steps will be taken. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Due to the size of the organization and the fact that no employees' contractors or officers receive more than $100,000. We have established that our officers that receive pay also are key employees and contribute to the day to day operations of the organization. Should anyone request pay the board will evaluate the request and research the pay of similar positions within the industry and make its decisions to the job duties and the pay that will be provided. This has been a policy since 2009. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 All documents are available upon request A Bond of Life Adoptions Louisiana is a small non-profit and myself Steve Kyler was not aware of the requirment to file electronically. I mailed and filed the 2021 990 on time but not elctronically. I hope we are not assesed a penalty, but in the event we are. I will more than likely have to pay that penalty out of my own funds. I hope you will grant us an exemption from a penalty. All future returns will be filled electronically.
