      <ProgramSrvcAccomplishmentGrp>
        <DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>In 2024, Arc of Justice's pioneer program, codenamed Operation Reckoning, offered advocacy services for active-duty wounded warriors in the United States Armed Forces. Each individual served is enrolled in, or is about to be enrolled in, the Integrated Disability Evaluation System. Services provided include: advocating for the individual with their military command, with a bureaucrat from the Defense Health Agency (DHA), obtaining relief through Congressional Requests For Assistance, and/or providing knowledge of how lDES works so the wounded warrior can successfully navigate the system in order to secure the best possible outcome before their transition to becoming a veteran and civilian. Through this program, our principal worked mostly on Appellate representation for a Reserve service member who has had continued obstacles where advocacy is needed.</DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>

      <ProgramSrvcAccomplishmentGrp>
        <DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>Because the demand far outweighs the principal's ability to offer pro bono services, while staying financially solvent, Arc of Justice has partnered with other organizations to be able to refer individuals toward additional legal services to help navigate issues outside the scope of what Arc of Justice provides. This has allowed our organization to help connect our target population with tailored advocacy and to focus in more thoroughly on those specifically navigating IDES. A sacred tenet in our organization's ethos is that we will never turn away a wounded warrior without helping them, including but not limited to listening to their story and making the appropriate referral if we cannot assist them according to our founding charter.</DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>

Media appearances from recent years continue to circulate on the web and are shared as resources for the public to learn about the needs of our active duty wounded warrior population. Overall reach of public engagements continues to be over 100,000.</DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>

        <DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>In conjunction with the documentary, the tertiary program codenamed Operation Washington's Immortals, led to bipartisan legislation entitled the Wounded Warrior Bill of Rights being introduced for inclusion in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). It continues to find support in the House of Representatives but stalls out in the Senate. Sadly, our legislative fix to the problem was not included in the final version of the NDAA, but we will try again next year.</DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>
