The Foundation is exempt from income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRC. In addition, the Foundation qualifies for the charitable contribution deduction under Section 170(b)(1)(A) and has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation under Section 509(a)(3). The tax-exempt purpose of the Organization and the nature in which it operates is described above. The Organization continues to operate in compliance with its tax-exempt purpose. The Organization has adopted the requirements for accounting for uncertain tax positions. The Organization has determined that it is not required to record a liability related to uncertain tax positions for the years ended December 31, 2022 and 2021. Operations may include but are not limited to administration, membership, finance and accounting, convention/tradeshow/meeting planning, education, marketing, information technology, and government relations.
