TWO "LINDA MEALY AWARDS" WERE GRANTED TO JUNIOR SCIENTISTS FOR NEW RESEARCH OF HIGH QUALITY IN HUMAN ETHOLOGY. TWO "BEST STUDENT PAPER" AWARDS WERE AWARDED FOR PAPERS PUBLISHED IN THE SOCIETY'S FLAGSHIP JOURNAL, HUMAN ETHOLOGY.VOLUME 37 OF THE SOCIETY'S FLAGSHIP JOURNAL, HUMAN ETHOLOGY WAS PUBLISHED. THIS OPEN-ACCESS, PEER-REVIEWED PUBLICATION INCLUDED 1 BOOK REVIEW, 1 COMMENTARY PIECE, A BRIEF REPORT, AND 3 FULL-LENGTH EMPIRICAL RESEARCH ARTICLES. THE SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM INCLUDED OVER 50 CONFERENCE TALKS FROM SCHOLARS WORLD-WIDE, 30 POSTER PRESENTATIONS (PRIMARILY FROM STUDENT RESEARCHERS), A PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP ON THE USE OF NEUROIMAGING IN NATURALISTIC RESEARCH, AND 5 INVITED KEYNOTE/PLENARY TALKS FROM LEADING RESEARCHERS IN THE FIELD.
