As such it secures support from various organizations as well as from its members. Funds are gathered and quickly expended before events and accordingly there is little or no investment income. None of the officers or members are compensated. Part III, line 3 One of MBC Travelers primary activities in 2023 was the "Stage 4 Strut" a fashion show put on by members for members. In 2024 there was no Stage 4 Strut; it may return in 2025. The three major programs in 2024 were 1 Bucket List Trips" 2 Thrivers Closet 3 Pop-up activities which are smaller monthly dinners and quick trips which are less attended. Part VI, Line 7a Jennifer Pace President is empowered to appoint members to the governing body. Part VI, Line 8a The Secretary of MBC Travelers Inc. documents all board meetings and notes actions on behalf. Part VI, Line 11b The Treasurer of MBC Travelers and the Paid Preparer reviewed the Form 990 and discussed the tax return by phone and text numerous times. Proofing of the tax return was done via e-mailing from working copies followed by phone discussions. Much of the material was acquired through text and verbal discussions during preparation. Part VI, Line 19 MBC Travelers makes required governing documents available to the general public. Notices of availability are posted on the website www.mbctravelers.com.
