WithinReach's multilingual call center staff are experts in healthcare resources and provides families with friendly, compassionate service through its hotlines. WithinReach supports healthy families by providing direct access to developmental screening, early intervention, and family support services. These resources support children's optimal health and development, and ultimately increase each child's success academically and socially. To complement its call center services, WithinReach offers comprehensive online resources for families to find the help they need and partner with Americorps service members who conduct outreach and application assistance in the community. Form 990, Part III, Line 4b, Program Service Accomplishments: Workforce Development: Workforce development is a new and growing body of work at WithinReach. Along with King County, WithinReach works to support the design and building of a professional development system for all providers in King County who work with a family with a child prenatal to five years of age. This system will include comprehensive trainings in a number of areas designed to improve the care and support that professionals provide to families in their care. WithinReach's role encompasses the planning and coordination of these trainings, including managing contracts with a cohort of approved trainers. WithinReach also manages the data system that will collect all provider-level data on who is engaging with the system and will track outcomes and the impact of each training. Form 990, Part III, Line 4c, Program Service Accomplishments: Help Me Grow: Help Me Grow ("HMG") is a nationally recognized, evidence-based model, for connecting families with young children to the appropriate services and supports they need to thrive. Developed in Connecticut, the HMG model has been replicated in over 30 states across the country. In Washington, WithinReach is the statewide affiliate for HMG, working with partners across the state to develop HMG systems in their local communities. This includes providing technical assistance to better understand the model and leveraging existing resources to build it out including an understanding of resources in their communities, how to coordinate and centralize resource delivery amongst provider agencies, and to assess their data and evaluation needs.
