The grant award amounts are recommended by the Finance Committee and substantiated in the Board minutes.The departments of the grantee keep records for their expenditures of grant funds. Activities and use of grant funds is reported back to the grantor at each board meeting. Form 990, Part VI, Line 11b: Form 990 Review Process The 990 is reviewed by the Finanace Committee and then brought to the Board of Directors for approval prior to filing. Form 990, Part VI, Line 15b: Compensation Review and Approval Process for Officers and Key Employees The Board of Directors appoints a performance and compensation review committee which researches salaries and benefits of comparable positions in the Bay Area to determine an appropriate level of compensation.
