Form 990, Part VI, Line 15b Process to establish compensation of other employees The process for determining compensation for Senior Officers of the College (includes the Vice Presidents of Administration & Finance, IT, Academic Affairs, Dean of Students, Admissions & Financial Aid, Advancement, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Communications & Marketing, Chief Investment Officer, and Executive Director of the President's Office) meets the three requirements of the rebuttable presumption provisions under Treas. Reg. 53.4958-6. An annual review of comparability data from a national survey and a survey of 25 comparable schools, as well as a review of the Form 990 of other organizations is used to inform decisions. This information is reviewed by the Executive Compensation Sub-committee of the Board, consisting of the Chair, the Vice Chair, and the Chairs of the Budget and Finance Committee and the Audit Committee, who make a recommendation to the Board for approval. The Committee members are independent of management and free of any conflicts that would impair their judgment. Finally, the Executive Compensation Sub-committee adequately and timely documents its decisions regarding compensation.
