Its purpose is to attend and ensure access to early childhood services during the COVID-19 pandemic. This project is created to support early childhood service systems and strengthen resilience in children, families, and communities, with which we intend to attend to the early identification of children with special needs. As part of this project, a monitoring system for the development of children 0-5 years of age and a referral system for programs and agencies that serve early childhood, and their families will be maintained. In addition, as part of this initiative, APNI created a Learning Community where, together with representatives of agencies and programs, we discuss and establish strategies that allow us to meet the needs of children and their families. Project Name: Transportation Services Coordination Project, funded by HRSA throughout the local Department of Health (FY 2020-2021). The purpose of this project is to coordinate transportation services for families to access services offered at Pediatric Centers. As Many of these families do not have private transportation and many of the municipalities due to the economic crisis eliminated these services. $156,120.00 per year. Through this project they were served in different modalities a total of 429 families. The importance of early identification in children with loss hearing/deaf Project, funded by HRSA throughout the local Department of Health. This project aims to identify in children with hearing loss/deaf. We guide and train families on services available and how to access them. In addition, we train service providers in everything related to the needs of children with hearing loss/deaf. Also, as part of this project, a Course basic sign language for families and Service providers. From October 2020 to September 2021 throughout this project we served a total of 111 families and service providers. Provide incentives for organizations and/or agencies that create or maintain job positions. Project Name: Global Giving. Support for programs and operations that have been affected by and/or are responding to the impacts of COVID-19 in the context of Hurricane Maria recovery. Project Name.
