Support from the Foundation allows the Center to provide care and diabetes supplies at no cost to over 30% of its patients who are uninsured or underinsured. The Foundation hosts patient and clinical conferences annually to provide education on how to treat, care for, and support patients with diabetes. Salaries are presented for approval along with the organization's proposed budget at the February Executive Board Meeting annually. Executive Director receives a performance review by one or two Board members annually and at that time her salary is reviewed for approval.
