Sessions at the conference cover topics from best practices in the industry to deep-dive sessions about the discipline of TBM. Attendees network with others over four days and share TBM strategies with other I.T. leaders from around the world. The council also typically hosts a TBM European summit at which global I.T. leaders gather to explore technology trends, challenges, and opportunities. TBMC serves its members and the I.T. professional by defining a data-driven framework for decision-making that creates and sustains business value. The council is working to establish and promote TBM standards and practices in the I.T. industry that will help measure, manage, and communicate the budget, cost, consumption and value of I.T. The TBMC framework is comprised of standards created with input from the council's members, partners, and technical advisor. The framework provides a means by which I.T. leaders can assess whether their own organizations have adopted the standardized disciplines and capabilities I.T. leaders can benchmark their own organizations against the framework, as their industry peers.
