We have no employees and very little overhead so far and only volunteers to help with the research into the genealogy of the Free People of Color, slaves, and indigenous people who contributed to saving the City of New Orleans as well as the US in Dec and Jan of 1815 in the last battle of the War of 1812. The Foundation preserves and shares this history and assists many to find their own ancestors in our records.
