The majority of this training was done via the internet due to our inability to travel during the 2020 COVID pandemic. We held webinars in English and Spanish, which were well-attended internationally. We continued to provide teaching materials, both electronically and printed, especially for the more economically challenged areas. We maintained contact with and supported local key leaders in order for them to champion DM2 outreaches throughout the world. With the exception of an outreach into the South Pacific (Australia, New Guinea, Fiji) just prior to the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 greatly reduced our ability to send teams out to do ministry. However, we were encouraged to see disciple-making continue, and even expand into new areas, due to the pandemic, which was surprising in many ways, but also reflective of our core principles of teaching faithful people who will be able to teach others also. One field of particular encouragement was Venezuela.
