In 2020 Project Ethiopia completed two rural primary school buildings that now serve more than 450 students in grades K - 8 each day. We replaced grass roofing with durable long-lasting iron roofing for 55 of the neediest households in two villages. Through our low-interest micro loan program we added one more revolving micro loan fund for a total of three funds in operation. We formed two new Farmers' Associations each comprised of 50 model farmers and provided each member with tools and materials to improve their farm production. Farmers' Associations meet monthly for ongoing training and support. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic our team distributed hand soap to 3,240 households in five communities. We also provided solar lanterns with a cell phone charger to 505 households replacing dangerous kerosene lamps with clean effective solar lighting.
