Due to COVID-19 familes were served remotely with information via zoom including: daily/weekly communiations, sharing children's learning activities, videos of teachers reading stories and sharing lessons, and providing virtual family engagement activities. Additionally, the Conservancy provided both drive-through and in-home delivery of essential supplies for families under lock down such as food, diapers, wipes and hygiene products, cleaning supplies, books, children's outdoor play items and activities. The Conservancy also collaborated with additional community partners to refer familes for additional support such as rental assitance, Pandemic EBT, and mental health services. 5000 5000 100 $50 electronic Walmart gift cards were distributed to low-income families with children ages birth to five during the COVID-19 pandemic. All board members sign a conflict of interest form annually. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15 There is currently only one SOCI employee, the Executive Director. Performance Metrics: In the first three years, the executive director will be the only staff member and is responsible for planning, program administration/management, community partner management, and oversight of hte accountability process. The Executive Director will be assessed based on program results generated, the financial sustainability of the organization and strategic planning designed to take the organization from one region to multiple regions over time. Annual Performance Assessment: The board President will conduct a performance review of the Executive Director on an annual basis. In establishing compensation of the Executive Director the Board will follow the conflict of interest policy, approve compensation in advance of payment and document in writing the date and terms of approved compensation. Financial statements are not available to the general public, but are available to all members of the Board of Directors.
