The tax-exempt purpose of the Association and the nature in which it operates is described in the first paragraph of this note. Management's assertion is that there are no uncertain tax positions and the Association continues to operate in compliance with its tax-exempt purpose. The Association is subject to income tax on its net unrelated business income after related expenses, arising from the sale of advertising.
