However, income from certain activities not related to the Societys tax exempt purpose is subject to taxation as unrelated business income, primarily commissions from insurance administration, rental income, and advertising. The Society has analyzed its tax positions taken for filings with the Internal Revenue Service. It believes that its tax filing positions will be substantiated upon examination and does not anticipate any adjustments that would result in a material adverse effect on its financial condition, results of operations, or cash flows.
