We are united in our deep sense of care and passion for this circuit and are dedicated to fostering our community of South Asian performing artists. We strive to organize a fair, hospitable, and truly enjoyable national championship weekend - one that provides a grand venue for our fellow artists to showcase their exceptional talents. In 2019, we provided 400 dancers the opportunity to perform in front of a sold-out audience of 1100, arts education, and networking opportunities with industry professionals. We, along with our partner competitions, served over 1000 dancers with over 20 events. 72208 0 44794 Desi Dance Convention, also known as DDCON, is a 3-day annual event which brings artists together for a variety of informative breakouts, dance workshops, and open forums. DDCON attendees are invited into a safe and collaborative environment where they are encouraged to step outside of their comfort zones, develop their creative skills, and build new relationships. DDCON aims to cultivate curiosity and passion for the performing arts by providing attendees with diverse new experiences in dance. In 2019, we served approximately 400 dancers during this weekend, with over 40 classes and workshops.
