The roof had deteriorated over the course of the many years of having owned the property. We had patched and patched the roof leaving the organization with having to decide to close the program due to the constant leaking of the roof causing damage and rot to the interior structures of the facility. Due to the donation of a generous donor in early 2023, the agency was able to secure a reputable cost effective roofing company to repair the roof. Although it took several months for the entire repair to commensurate, the end result was a beautiful leak proof roof. 38119 0 0 RECH was able to secure mentorship opportunities through networking at capacity building conference held in Kentucky. The advice and guidance has been very instrumental in increasing program capacity and operations to date. Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 other misc expenses are being reported from the Rad-X account account in addition to the primary business account The Secretary of State triggered an Internal Audit of 2022 TY, an accounting firm was hired and we were told that the review would only take about 6 weeks. The review took nine months to complete and the only person who could file the 990 for RECH worked on pulling the receipts and copying them and getting them in order to file 2023 all the while working diligently with the CPA firm to get the internal review completed as fast as possible. The Review took more time and energy than what was expected, but as soon as that was over, the person completing the 990 was able to focus on getting the receipts and invoices keyed into quickbooks for 2023 filing so 2024 can follow soon afterwards.
