We rent five houses in three Ethiopian cities. Some of our expenses are paid directly to schools and landlords. The remaining expenses are paid in cash that is wired monthly to our in-country Ethiopian managers, We have almost daily contact with our two employees in Ethiopia and we visit our projects regularly. We also get regular reports from the schools that our students are attending. We are quite sure that the funds we donate are put to their intended use. 1 All grants in the US are for the support of students attending college. The vast majority of this money is paid directly to universities. A small amount is paid to our students for incidental expenses.
