The lease calls for current monthly base rent, including utilities, of $7,444. For the year 2023, the Organization paid $89,322 in rent to this related party. This transaction was approved by a vote of the disinterested Board Members. Compensation paid to Related Party:During the year, the Organization paid compensation of $97,917 to the President of the Organization, who ran the day-to-day operations of the Organization and $133,896 to the Presidents son, who is the Operations Director of the Organization. All related party transactions were approved by a vote of the disinterested Board members. In 2024, the Organization paid $43,060 and engaged a company to provide marketing and design support, as well as the development of a pilot documentary video focused on the SPAR program, project that is consistent with the Organizations mission and objectives, specifically aiming to raise awareness of the challenges faced by HIV-infected individuals and to highlight the ongoing impact of HIV in the United States. This company is owned by the daughter of the Organizations President and the sister of the Operations Director.
