Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Prior to filing, the 990 is reviewed by the legal affairs/audit committee of the board and is made available to each member of the board. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Trustees, officers and key employees are required to submit a conflict of interest report on an annual basis. The reports are reviewed by the legal affairs/audit committee, who in turn, communicates any conflicts to the full board. Should an issue arise in which a board member or key employee has a conflict, the individual is required to recuse themselves from any and all activities related to the conflict. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The University hired an outside consulting firm and created a Compensation Committee to make every effort to ensure that the President's compensation is reasonable, fair and equitable. Minutes are kept for the Compensation Committee meetings. The President's compensation is also approved by the full board. The President of the University sets salaries for key executives and annually reviews independent salary data from similar institutions to ensure that salaries and wages are within the appropriate range.
