If a conflict arises, the board member will recuse themself from participation in the deliberations and decisions relating to the conflict. The administrator personally approves contracts, dealings with subcontractors, and any internal hires to ensure that there is no conflict of interest. The Organization also maintains an electronic disclosure policy that requires an annual manager review and sign off. The board is also made aware of any contractors of consequence and is alerted to any potential conflicts of interest.
