The entity follows the provisions of the Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes section of the Income Taxes Topic of the FASB Accounting Standards Codification, which addresses the determination of whether tax benefits claimed or expected to be claimed on a tax return should be recorded in the financial statements. The following process was used: The Executive Director's annual compensation is subject to the provisions in their employment contract: the Executive shall receive a base salary, paid in accordance with the Association's normal payroll practices. Effective as of January 1, 2016, the Executive's base salary shall be at an annual rate of $325,000, and shall increase three percent (3%) on January 1st of each year. In addition, during the period of November 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018, the Association and the Executives agree to meet in good faith to renegotiate the Executive's base salary to determine any other appropriate increase.
