Students have been identified to receive GSSG scholarships in consultation with partnering organizations. These students have been identified as having the potential to succeed academically but lack financial resources to continue their educations. The Organization provides funds for scholarships, books and supplies, travel and fees, academic counseling and advisement, some medical expenses, and other miscellaneous expenses. The Trustees are asked to review Form 990 and if they have any questions, they are encouraged to contact the Treasurer. Following the deadline for review, the form is electronically submitted to the IRS. Should any decisions come before the Board of Trustees that potentially present a conflict of interest, Board members are asked to disclose such a conflict to the other members of the Board and abstain from voting on the matter.
