The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) has issued ASC 740-10, Income Taxes (formerly FIN 48, Accounting for uncertainty in Income Taxes), which required entities to disclose known or anticipated positions of income tax uncertainty. The Organization is not aware of any uncertain income tax position as of October 27, 2017. The Organization could be subject to examination by the Internal Revenue Service or other applicable tax jurisdictions. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 3 The Organization is affiliated through common management and control with Kentucky River Handicapped Housing, Inc. (KRHH), a non-profit organization which provides management and administrative services to the organization. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Once the 990 is prepared by the external accountant, management will review the 990 and ensure that the numbers reconcile to the accounting system. The 990 is then presented to the Board for review before filing.
