BRPT is subject to tax on income from unrelated business activities. For the years ended December 31, 2016 and 2015, BRPT did not generate any taxable net unrelated business income; therefore, no tax expense was incurred. Management has evaluated BRPT's tax positions and has concluded that BRPT has taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustment to or disclosure in the accompanying financial statements.
