The program is operated throughout Los Angeles County and is based in at the Patriotic Hall site in downtown Los Angeles.Outreach Program-U.S.VETS provides outreach services to homeless and at-risk veterans throughout the 16 communities where the agency is located. The program is designed to provide appropriate referrals to homeless and at-risk veterans in need of housing, mental or physical health treatment, substance abuse treatment, and employment assistance. U.S.VETS provides supportive services that encompass most needs of veterans and, in locations where U.S.VETS does not provide a certain service, the outreach team refers the individual to the appropriate service provider while continuing to assist the veteran until they are appropriate to enroll in a U.S.VETS program or as needed.
