It meets annually with the audit firm to review the audited financial statements in detail. The audit firm then prepares the Form 990 from the information it has obtained through the audit and reviewed with the audit committee. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c Each board member is asked to review and sign a conflict of interest policy every year. This puts the board member on notice of their continuing obligation throughout the year. A presentation on the conflict of interest policy is given at the annual Board retreat.
