ProSalud trains promotoras (certified community health workers) to provide health information, education, access to health programs and intervention in a linguistically correct and culturally relevant way that enables people to make sound, factually-based decisions about their and their children's health. Access to Health-ProSalud participates in health related community events providing screenings and health education (292). We also have office hours in the Neighborhood Centers Inc. Baker-Ripley Center and other sites to offer information and help assisting clients in applications for health services and referrals to low cost clinics (5753).
