In addition the Organization provides virtually all of the funds required to operate the on-site school which has over 300 students. 591902 1 1 591902 Central America and the Caribbean The purpose of the grant was to provide all of the funding for a children's home that clothes, houses and feeds 80 children in Chimaltenago, Guatemala, and to provide almost all of the funding to support a Christian school on the Organization's property in Chimaltenago. The school has over 300 students which include those from the Home and those from the neighboring impoverished community. 591902 Monthly transfer of funds per yearly budget 0 1 1 0 0 0 0 0 1 Schedule F, Part I, Line 2 The Organization provided grants in the total amount of $558,705 to a Guatemalan Non profit Charity for the purpose of enabling it to operate a Children's Home for orphans and children of families unable to provide for them. The Home is located on property owned by the Organization. There are 80 children in the home. The grants are also used to support a Christian School that is located on the Organization's property. The school has over 300 students. The students are from the home and from the surrounding impoverished neighborhood in Chimaltenago, Guatemala. The grants are made based upon a budget that is prepared at the beginning of the year, and funds are dispersed each month based upon the budget and any adjustments that are deemed necessary. The organization obtains a Guatemalan audit from a Guatemalan firm that reviews the disbursements made by the Guatemalan Charity. In addition, the Organization has representatives on site on a regular basis to see that the funds are being used for the Organization's charitable purposes. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 Under the terms of the Organizations incorporating documents, its members consist of the members of the Board of Directors and their spouses, and any other individuals that the members elect to be members. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a The members do have the power to appoint members of the governing body. The members of the governing body are elected by the members for a three year term. One third of the members of the Governing body come up for election each year. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b A copy of the 990 is sent to all members of the Governing body for their review and input, prior to it being filed. It is also sent to all officers before it is filed for their review. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c The state of Florida requires a written conflict of interest statement. The Organization has adopted a specific conflict of interest statement for all directors and officers, and all such persons are required to report violations. Any proposition adopted by the Board is reviewed to determine if there is a potential conflict of interest. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 18 In the Organization's monthly newsletter and on its web site, the Organization gives a notice that the Organization's financial details are filed with the State of Florida, and the notice states explicitly how to access those records online in the State of Florida. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 The State of Florida requires that form 990 be filed as part of the State's annual filing, and as a result the public can view the organization's 990 by going to Florida's site. In addition, the organization includes in each month's newsletter a statement that the organization's financial figures are available at the Florida online site. The newsletter then describes how to gain access to the Florida site. Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 Line 9 reflects the net decrease in value of the Organization's buildings, personal property and wells and pumps, which totaled $55,062.
