In addition, the Foundation has entered into contracts with donors for charitable gift annuities for which the Foundation has accepted contributions. The present value of the liability for future payments is reflected on the Foundation's balance sheet.The Foundation has a contractual arrangement to act as the University's agent in managing the University's endowment assets ensuring consistent management of endowment assets that support the University regardless of entity ownership. The Foundation's endowment funds provide grants to the University of Connecticut.
