We are a unique healthcare provider for Northeast Georgia and have chosen locations with you in mind - in Bowman, Clayton, Colbert, Demorest, Gainesville, Hartwell, Homer, Lexington, Royston, and Winder. Medlink Georgia was founded in 1976. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life in our communities by providing accessible, affordable primary healthcare and related services effectively, efficiently, and responsibly. Our physicians' specialties range from Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and more. We can serve you and become the healthcare network that meets your needs. No one is refused services because of lack of insurance. MedLink provides a broad set of services based on the needs of the communities we serve and pride ourselves on being the healthcare provider that works best with your financial situation. Our sites are community practices, serving everyone from newborns to the elderly, including those with commerical and public insurance, as well as those without insurance. MedLink's goal is to keep the lack of insurance from being a roadblock to quality health care. We accept Medicare, Medicaid including Amerigroup, PeachState, and WellCare-, PeachCare, Most Major Insurance, State Health Benefit Plans, and offer payment on a sliding fee schedule. This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11 Full Board receives a full copy of the 990 and all accompanying schedules at a regularly scheduled board meeting. A Motion and vote is made to accept the 990 and authorize to file. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c MedLink Georgia has an approved conflict of interest policy which requires its employees and Board members to always act in the best interest of the Company. Board members have a special duty to act in the public interest and to avoid dealing for personal compensation. Employees and the Board are encouraged to ask questions in all instances where there is a question related to the policy. The Board and employees are required to make full disclosure of existing or potential Conflicts of Interest situations in accordance with the guidelines below. Any improper transfer of material or disclosure of information, even though it is not apparent that an employee has personally gained by such action constitutes unacceptable conduct. Further, any undisclosed Conflict of Interest situations shall be considered unacceptable conduct. Any Board member or employee who participates in such a practice will be subject to disciplinary action.
