Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11 When Form 990 has been prepared and provided to the Organization by its tax return preparer, the return is submitted for review at the next formal board of directors' meeting. Discussions are held with any questions or concerns in regards to the return. Once all discussions have concluded, the Board formal approves the issuance of the return to the National Organization. Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12c The Organization's conflict of interest policy is maintained at the Organization's office. The conflict of interest policy is also provided to all current and new employees. In order to ensure compliance with this policy, the Organization's board of directors actively reviews the policy and approves any changes as necessary. CEO executive director top management comp Part VI line 15a On a yearly basis the Board of Directors makes inquiries with other local charitable organizations similar in size, including other Youth for Christ chapters, in order to determine a fair and reasonable amount of compensation for their Executive Director. Once an amount has been determined it is voted on and approved by the Board of Directors at their annual meeting. The Executive Director's compensation is then fixed at that amount until otherwise adjusted. Other officer or key employee compensation Part VI line 15b Compensation for officers and other key employees is determined and approved each and every year by the Organization's board of directors. Governing documents etc available to public Part VI line 19 The Organization makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements available to the public by maintaining copies of all documents on hand at the local chapter office. Upon request, these documents can be produced and provided to the public.
