Additionally, the organization promotes cooperation among United Association Local Unions engaged in referring or representing their members. 0 0 1080933 1)We set up an organizing committee made up of 6 organizers throughout Colorado and Wyoming with the intent of showing the value of being a union contractor and a union member. We strategized the best way to organize both new members and contractors throughout our territorial jurisdiction. 2)We signed Western Refractory Inc. to a National Industrial Maintenance Agreement and we helped them establish a presence at Suncor refinery in Denver creating several employment opportunities for our union members in Denver. We also signed them to the same contract at the Holly Frontier in Cheyenne helping stabilize an unstable situation on that facility. 3)We have accomplished a better working relationship by and between the unions and the contractor groups throughout the jurisdiction of the Rocky Mountain Pipe Trades District Council # 5.
