To achieve these objectives, NYNY leverages the time and talents of young professionals in an innovative, volunteer-driven model. At 28 Saturday workshops spanning two years, 250 first-generation college students (Fellows) work one-on-one with their dedicated young professional mentors (Mentor Coaches) for approximately six hours.
