Previously, all four Continuums of Care in West Virginia were on four distinct software systems. It is now possible for clients to move freely throughout West Virginia for intake and assessment and will be possible to pull statewide, quality data on homelessness in West Virginia. 11091 11091 11091 OEO With the OEO CSBG Discretionary Grant, WVCEH has been able to maintain an aggressive schedule of monitoring and technical assistance for homeless service projects, providing better client outcomes. They were fully involved in reviewing and selecting the Executive Director. The board members also set the salaries for the current employees since there was not an Executive Director until later in the tax year (2012). F990_P06_S0C_L19 Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 The Board of Directors in fiscal year 2013, which began on July 1, 2012, has been putting together this type of information for public access and viewing. Before this time, these documents did not exist. In late fiscal year 2012 (ending June 30, 2012), this organization did a complete 180 degree change. The Board of Directors recognized that the organization was in a state of chaos since there were no employees running the company, only volunteers and contractual help. The Directors have set into motion many procedural changes including the hiring of competent staff and an Executive Director who will oversee the organization's day to day activities. This organization was always very dedicated to its mission but the business end was neglected due to ignorance and limitations of the volunteers, who all work full time jobs elsewhere. They have made a committed change and their returns will not be late in future years.
