International Director (ID) travels to Africa miltiple times per year for severa weeks at a time training the indigenous staff for drill and digging wells and repairing hand pumps. Hand pump repair training. Locals who show leadership skills are singled out by the ID and enter a Leadership Training Program. 85% of the ID airlinge fare is allocated to this grant category. The ID is also the Purchasing Agent for materials and equpment for the Africa Operations part of these grants. 40% of the salary of the ID is allocated to this category. 31010 11810 Multiple Training Seminars were held in various parts of Kenya including the Kuria School District in Kenya where over 125 schools are represented. Over 200,000 students are now receiving training from the curriculum we developed for Kenya and Tanzania. The Curriculum was written, published, printed and distributed through this grant. An indigenious staff of 5 full time Social Workers were employed and deployed through this grant.
