Current board members are encouraged to attend and review at that time. The conflict of interest policy is reviewed with new employees at their orientation and monitored through monthly supervisory meetings and bi-annual performance reviews. However, in either case, any conflict of interest is addressed immediately when any issue arises. In Aug 2011, trustees and staff reviewed and signed an annual conflict of interest statement. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15a The process used for determining FY 2011-12 CEO compensation included review of the current salary of the Vice President of Coalition Strategies, review of the past President/Executive Director exiting salary level and review of the proposed 2011-12 budget. Another consideration was the fact that these two positions and responsibilities would be combined in FY 2011-12. Available for review are the annual Leadership Council of Human Services Executives/United Way of Greater Cincinnati Salary & Benefits Survey. The offer extended by the Chairman of the Board on behalf of the Search Committee, a subcommittee of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees was designed to be commensurate with the resigning President/Executive Director's intended salary.
