The Board of Directors may create new classes of members with such rights and conditions of membership as determined by the Board of Directors. The members of each class of membership, including any additional class of members created by the Board of Directors, are hereinafter the "Members". Any entity shall be eligible to be a member if it applies for membership in a class for which it is eligible, agrees to pay the dues for the class of membership for which the entity applies and supports the principal goals adopted by the Coalition. The Members do not elect or control decisions of the Board of Directors. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a Each member may appoint its director by written notice to the Coalition. In the absence of such an appointment by a member, the Board of Directors may elect a director who is a representative of that member to fill the vacancy or if no such director is elected, the member's operating officer shall serve as its director.
