These are presented throughout the campus in a series of permanent and temporary exhibitions designed to reflect the creative diversity of the people and cultures of the world. Included in the collections are objects from Pre-Columbian, Native American, South and Central American, African, Oceanic, Oriental, Greek, Roman, and Egyptian cultures, as well as works by contemporary artists. The University Museum makes objects from the collections available for display at businesses and organizations in the community who have an ongoing relationship with SIUE. An agreement to display artwork is dependent upon security and insurance arrangements. Several prints, paintings, and sculptures are on display at TheBANK of Edwardsville, Hortica Corporate Headquarters, and Edwardsville City Hall. One responsibility of the committee is to evaluate a salary range. The Human Resources department of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville maintains extensive salary data and since employees are paid by the University and not by the filing organization, the University assists in the process of determining an appropriate salary to offer based on review of comparable positions and budgetary considerations. Key Employee Kevin Martin's time is allotted between two organizations; the University and the Foundation. His time is on the average is allotted equally with 18.75 hours each for total weekly hours of 37.5 hours. Chief Executive Officer Patrick Hundley's time is also alloted between two organizations; the University and the Foundation. His time on the average is allotted 59 percent for the University and 41 percent for the Foundation. Respectively 22.125 hours for the University and 15.375 hours for the Foundation, for a total of 37.5 hours. The organization has an executive committee made up of the Foundation CEO, the University Chancellor, the Chairman of the Board of the University System, the President of the University System and the following officer positions of the Foundation board: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Chairman.
