The coalition has helped develop and advocate for policies that support deployment of peacekeeping forces in Darfur and provide U.S. funding for humanitarian support. The coalition has also raised awareness among policymakers of how violence against women is used as a weapon of genocide. Internationally, the coalition engages with the UN, other bodies and foreign governments to urge action to end the Darfur crisis.
