The Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina manages the entire grant cycle as directed by Cooper River Bridge Run, Inc's fund agreement. Every effort is made by CCF to ensure that the grant recipients are reputable and their services are beneficial to the community. No further monitoring of the funds is performed once the grants are directed to the recipient. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b A draft copy of the form 990 was provided to the Organization's Board of Directors prior to its filing. All proposed changes and questions were addressed before the return was filed with the IRS. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c All employees and board members are required to complete a written conflict of interest questionnaire annually. An interested board member, officer, or staff member shall not participate in any discussion or debate of the board of directors, or in any committee or subcommittee thereof in which the subject of discussion is a contract, transaction, or situation in which there may be a perceived or actual conflict of interest. They may be present to provide clarifying information in such a discussion or debate unless objected to by any present board member or committee member. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15a Compensation for the Director was determined by the Board of Directors during a scheduled meeting. The Board of Directors used data from similar nonprofit organizations as a comparison for the agreement. The acceptance of the compensation agreement was noted in the board minutes.
