The FBA supports the full and equal access to, and participation by, all individuals in the Association, the legal profession, and the justice system regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other unique attribute. The FBA recognizes that achieving diversity in the legal profession requires the Association's continued effort and commitment. The FBA is committed to diversity throughout the Association. The FBA is guided by a three-year strategic plan, adopted in September 2019, that articulates objectives that are consistent with the FBA's commitment to serving as a nonpartisan catalyst for communication between the bar and the bench, as well as between the private and public sectors. The strategic plan focuses on three specific objectives for lasting impact: design a sustaining financial model that will support the FBA's future relevance, strengthen recognition of the FBA as the advocate for the federal judiciary and as the premier bar for federal practitioners, and modernize the FBA's governance structure to ensure meaningful and inclusive leadership opportunities. |
