THE FOUNDATION IS AN ACCREDITED TRAINING SPONSOR FOR THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR CONSTRUCTION EDUCATION AND RESEARCH (NCCER). AS A SPONSOR THE FOUNDATION OFFERS THE NCCER INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION TRAINING PROGRAM. CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS ARE QUALIFIED TO TEACH NCCER CONTREN LEARNING SERIES CURRICULUM. THIS CURRICULUM IS MODULE BASED AND TEACHES STUDENTS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ASSOCIATED WITH TASKS RELATED TO A VARIETY OF CRAFT TRADES. TRAINING IS CONDUCTED IN COMMUNITY COLLEGES, TECHNICAL SCHOOLS, HIGH SCHOOLS AND WITHIN INDIVIDUAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES IN NC AND SC. THE FOUNDATION IS AN ACCREDITED ASSESSMENT CENTER FOR NCCER.
