Explanation	FACTS AND CIRCUMSTANCES TEST SSF invests significant resources in the development and maintenance of a public URL that solicits funding from its viewers. SSF actively pursues corporate contributions through corporate scholarship sponsorships. SSF continuously expands its corporate reach in hopes of growing awareness and, ultimately, financial support. Board members are tasked with engaging communities within public school alma mater districts and other districts at large in greater North Texas. SSF petitions school administrators, faculty/staff, current students, graduated students, and past award recipients to spread awareness and seek financial support. Each year SSF utilizes the scholarship award banquet event to broadcast the history, mission and financial need of the SSF. Finally, SSF regularly seeks contributions from other nonprofits such as community foundations to give or match. SSF is governed by a board representing a wide range of ages (30s to 80s), industries and backgrounds - from Fortune 500 executive to homemaker. Many were educated through the North Texas public school systems and went on to attend the same college campuses as the award recipients themselves. SSF is financially supported by past award winners, corporations across a broad spectrum of industry, other foundations and individual gifts in modest and generous amounts. The organization provides college scholarship funding to students with significant financial need. The application process has been designed and modified to effectively identify such students. The scholarship opportunities are made available to anyone living in the greater North Texas area with a broadly defined connection to sports, including band or other extracurricular involvement. The recipients cover a geographically broad area (historically 900 square miles) and are gender, socioeconomically and ethnically inclusive.
